A man has revealed how a garden shed has "revolutionised" his and his wife's working lives.
Paul Hitchens, 44, told the Daily Express that he and wife Julia used to work for a branding agency but then quit to set up their own firm.
They moved to Surrey when they had children and needed somewhere to do their work, so invested in a large garden shed.
"We can fit in our work around the school run and keep home and work separate. The shed is also a very creative space with lots of natural light," he told the newspaper.
He went on to say that his clients benefit as the firm does not have to pass on the cost of huge overheads.
Research published earlier this month by website shedworking.co.uk showed that businesses run from garden sheds in the UK made an average of £76,449 in the last financial year.
