Garden shed owners are being urged by police to be vigilant, after a family's Christmas presents were stolen from their back yard.
Around £1,500 worth of goods were stolen from Amanda and Nigel Saunders' garden shed in High Street, Cannington, including their four sons' presents, thisiswestcountry.co.uk reports.
"It has hit us a lot financially and we're still not sure if the insurance will cover it. It's a hassle we could do without in the run-up to Christmas," Ms Saunders, 34, told the news provider.
The family used the shed to store the presents as they have been renovating the inside of their house.
Police warned local residents that there are often more burglaries in the run-up to Christmas and urged people to lock their sheds and even fit an alarm system.
Last month, the Droitwich Advertiser reported that a man from Droitwich's tools had been stolen from his garden shed.
