Garden sheds 'can become impromptu museums'

Garden sheds can become impromptu museums thanks to the treasures they often end up housing, one commentator has claimed.
Nigel Colborn wrote in the Daily Mail that a garden shed is often seen as a den for grown ups - a place where they can indulge in their hobbies.
"On the surface, these huts are purely functional, but look deeper and it becomes clear that they play an important role in many of our lives," he said.
Mr Colborn went on to say that these buildings are not just essential for storage, but are useful for bench-based tasks such as seed sowing or potting.
He said that much can be learned about a person by looking in their shed - an organised person's will be well ordered, with everything in its rightful place, for example.
Earlier this week, Leatherhead-based animal charity Wildlife Aid told thisislocallondon.co.uk that people should be careful not to leave chemicals lying around in their sheds as wild animals often use these buildings to shelter in during the winter.
