Garden sheds 'are great for winter bulb growing'

Garden sheds are great to use for growing bulbs in the winter, one commentator has suggested.
A writer known simply as Liam claims in a piece on thegardenshed.info that forcing bulbs into bloom in the middle of winter can be highly rewarding.
"It is an inexpensive way to beautify your home, and nowhere near as difficult as most people seem to think," he added.
Liam said that it takes nothing more than a little practice and foresight to achieve winter blooming.
One of the keen gardener's first pieces of advice is not to sacrifice quality for quantity, as cheap bulbs tend to be inferior.
He recommends gardeners to try using amaryllis bulbs, as this flower can be forced extremely easily and produces several large lily-like flowers in a great variety of colours.
Earlier in the month, an unnamed writer recommended in a piece on the blog site dantesinferno.com that sheds are great places to do some gardening work in due to the shelter that they provide.
