Tools 'are great gifts for garden shed owners'

Garden shed owners wondering what to buy for their green-fingered friends this Christmas should consider garden tools, one commentator has suggested.
Georgeanne Davis wrote in a feature posted on freepressonline.com that she was interested in buying garden tools designed for women, the elderly or those with arthritis.
She said that, after having a look around, she came across many tools, such as hand trowels, cultivators and forks, which were fitted with padding to make them more comfortable to use.
"Another rather practical gift for almost any gardener is a kneeling pad or cushion to prevent aching joints and wet knees," Ms Davis wrote.
She went on to say that this may not be the most exciting of presents, but that it is a "gift that keeps on giving as it spares those creaking knees".
Garden sheds are the obvious choice when it comes to looking for a place to store new tools, but this is not the only use that these buildings can have, 82-year-old Cliff Farrington recently proved.
The Manchester Evening News reported that the great-granddad uses his shed as a workshop in which he makes rocking horses.
