People 'are using imagination when it comes to their garden sheds'

People are using their imaginations when deciding what to use their garden sheds for, one commentator has claimed.
Glenn Newnham, writing on articlesbase.com, asserts that sheds are traditionally seen as storage buildings, but that they are actually extremely versatile.
He goes on to say that some people see their sheds as extensions of their homes and are converting the buildings in different ways depending on their individual needs.
Mr Newnham explains that some people are using their sheds as play sheds for their children, rooms in which to practice musical instruments and quiet spaces in which to read.
"[One of the] several reasons why garden sheds are no longer being seen as 'just a shed' is because sheds now come in an array of shapes, sizes, colours and materials," Mr Newnham goes on to write.
These buildings are also being used by artists in an exhibition currently running in Melbourne, Australia, called Into the Shed.
