Garden sheds 'have many uses'

10:11:20 8th November 2010

There are many things that a garden shed can be used for, one commentator has suggested.

A piece on the home, decoration and real estate site alborronchos.com states that the most obvious use for a shed is as a place to store garden equipment and tools.

However, it goes on to state that a shed can be transformed into a home office, a mini green house and even an outdoor bar for garden parties and barbeques.

The writer of the piece also suggests that sheds can be turned into a room where people can carry out their hobbies, such as woodworking.

"My garage was too full and dusty to allow me to properly finish my woodworking projects so I built a wooden garden shed and finished the inside with sheetrock and put in a linoleum floor," they write.

The Manchester Evening News recently reported that a man from Hale, near Liverpool, had been using his garden shed as a workshop in which to make rocking horses.ADNFCR-2655-ID-800220432-ADNFCR
