Look after garden sheds this winter

Owners of garden sheds and furniture should treat their wooden items now to keep them looking good for next year, states one expert.
Autumn is the perfect time to get out in the garden, according to Kate Hodge of Ronseal, affording the ideal opportunity to protect wooden garden items.
Ronseal has been urging people to ensure their gardens are ready for the winter months.
"Any wood such as fencing, decking and furniture should also be well protected to ensure it is in tip top condition next spring and to prevent any peeling, cracking, splitting or greying," comments Ms Hodge.
And for a bit of added colour and cheer in the garden, she suggests painting wooden items with coloured stains, or adding bird tables and other items as pieces of interest.
Taking small steps such as these could ensure the garden looks as good during winter as it does in the summer months.
