Get creative with garden sheds

13:09:20 27th September 2010

Garden sheds can be more than just simple storage - they can be creative projects, according to one publication.

Writing for My Journal Courier, Ron and Mary Gray have looked at examples of people viewing their garden sheds as projects and the results they have had.

Dianne O'Connor spent two years tracking down materials to build her shed to ensure they were authentic and would correspond with the design of her home.

Looking more like a miniature house, the shed does store garden equipment, but also features a stove and collectibles in storage.

Meanwhile, restoring various garden sheds and outbuildings have made Jim and Louetta Wardell gardening enthusiasts, decorating around these structures with plants and flowers.

Recently, Robert McNeil of the Belfast Telegraph commented that garden sheds are something of a haven for men - somewhere they can escape the worries of modern life.
