Historic farm buildings set to be restored

Dey farm buildings are set to be restored following a donation from their town's Historic Preservation Committee.
The American farm buildings date back to the mid-1700s and historians suspect that they could have been used as a camp by the continental army in 1778, according to Patricia A Miller of the Sentinel.
Discussions of the restoration started in the committee over 20 years ago; however, it has only just confirmed that it will take place.
The farm is receiving $1 million (£638,000) to restore its barn.
Among the other farm buildings on the site are two farmhouses and a schoolhouse, although the latter is awaiting assembly after being moved from elsewhere.
Earlier this month, brothers Nick and Nigel Ramsden were told that their Victorian farm would be restored after receiving a donation from the Natural England's Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, reported the BBC.
