Yorkshire farm buildings to be restored to former glory

Farm buildings in Yorkshire are set to be restored after receiving a donation from the Natural England's Higher Level Stewardship Scheme.
The Victorian stud farm was built in 1870 and is still largely made up of its original buildings, which the owners think provide a good insight into farming at the time, according to the BBC.
Owned by brothers Nick and Nigel Ramsden, the farm is being restored using materials and methods as similar to the originals as possible.
"We have always thought it would be fitting to restore it and were thrilled when Natural England's funding was made available to do it," commented Nick.
Last month, the Agriculture Building blog suggested that metal farm buildings can be an advantageous investment because of their durability.
