Landscaping around garden sheds

14:09:20 8th September 2010

Garden sheds are a familiar sight in gardens and one that may benefit from landscaping.

This is according to the Tallahassee Home and Garden blog, which suggests that landscaping may help make more of a feature out of a garden structure.

It notes that it is important to be happy with the appearance of the shed itself first. So, if it is not aesthetically pleasing it might be worth considering purchasing a new one.

Laying a path up to the door of the shed is a good way to make it look more like a part of the home, the blog suggests, while adding steps can give a polished look.
Meanwhile, planting flowers around the outside of the structure can also enhance its appearance.

Recently, the Pikibook blog noted that garden sheds can add a splash of colour to gardens, as well as providing useful storage.
