Making gardens safe for all the family

A gardening expert has offered advice on how to ensure gardens are safe for all the family - by closely looking at the plants growing there.
Bunny Guinness, writing for the Telegraph, notes that some plants can some cause allergic reactions and suggests reviewing what is growing in the garden in order to limit these.
It is especially important to tell children what to avoid to make sure they do not ingest any potentially troublesome plants or berries.
She also suggests that, if anybody is allergic to the leaves of certain bushes or trees, the plants in question could either be pruned or removed.
Recently, Francine Raymond, writing for the Telegraph, noted that gardens can be a fun place for the whole family.
She interviewed a couple who taught their children to garden from a young age, who commented that allowing children to discover and learn means they will understand what can harm them, as well as where they can do harm.
