Garden sheds to feature in live art exhibition

Garden sheds will be the focal point in Woburn this weekend as part of a live art exhibition.
The show will see garden sheds, currently painted white in preparation for the event, stand as a blank canvas for urban graffiti artists.
These garden sheds will then be painted in front of visitors to the show by way of promoting 'Sheds for Art' - a program that is part of Woburn ARTBEAT 2011.
Following their painting, the decorated structures will be used throughout the year as galleries and information points for charities.
They are then set to be put on sale when ARTBEAT has drawn to a close.
Johann Bester, director of the event, said: "There will be around 14 urban artists painting live in Woburn, and everybody is welcome to come and see them at work and even give it a try."
Recently, New Home Constructions commented that garden sheds can make great workshops as they provide a space for messier activities that could not perhaps be carried out in the home.
