Garden sheds 'can be used as workshops'

11:08:20 17th August 2010

Garden sheds can make good workshops, as well as being good places to work on craft projects.

This is according to New Home Constructions, which suggests that garden sheds can make the perfect location for those hobbies that are creative but are perhaps too messy to be carried out in the home.

The website comments that the most important factor when it comes to choosing a garden shed is to have a clear idea of what the space will be used for and therefore how much room will be needed, as well as what features it should have.

It also recommends that such buildings should be evocative of the personalities of their owners.

The Scotsman suggested yesterday (August 16th) that garden sheds are great places to work and think, with many famous authors and musicians admitting to getting lots of work done in theirs.
