Garden sheds are a perfect place to think and work, according to a new report.
The Scotsman discusses modern sheds, which it says have come a long way from the storage facilities they were previously seen as.
Looking at a book by Alex Johnson, the publication shows the benefits that using garden sheds for more creative purposes can have.
He suggests that garden sheds provide excellent places to work, with increasing numbers of employees choosing this over traditional office working.
Mr Johnson says: "A garden office is certainly an inspiring place in which to work and studies show that homeworkers are more productive than those in traditional offices."
Many writers and music artists are said to be very productive from their garden sheds, such as Roald Dahl, Neil Gaiman and Snoop Dogg.
Indoor Garden Online has suggested that garden sheds are a great place to engage in hobbies.
