Garden sheds a 'great place to spend time with friends'

Garden sheds have become a great place to socialise, according to the South Wales Echo.
Andrew Wilcox suggests that garden sheds provide an excellent alternative to the traditional venue of the pub.
While he acknowledges the public house will always be a staple, rises in drink prices and associated legislation are encouraging people to find elsewhere to entertain themselves.
Owner of a so-called 'pub shed' Ian Johnston said: "It's for everyone - friends, neighbours, family and the wife. [...] It's a great party shed with karaoke and has great music and atmosphere all year round, whatever the weather."
Recently, the Telegraph reported that garden sheds are becoming ever more popular as a place to escape to or socialise, in part due to their mod cons of heating and electricity - a big change from their previous status as storage facilities.
