Garden sheds in Top Gear cameo

Garden sheds recently featured in an episode of the hit TV programme Top Gear.
A garden centre in Kirkham was surprised when a request came through for two of their garden sheds to be used in an experiment by Jeremy Clarkson and his cohorts.
The garden sheds were used to help the show's stars ascertain whether a certain model of car can hold large objects or purchases, and therefore whether it is suitable for families carrying a lot of shopping.
John Butcher, general manager of the Dobbies Garden Centre, told the Blackpool Gazette: "The Top Gear producers asked if they could do the filming and if we wouldn't mind them carting off with a few garden sheds strapped to the back of their cars."
Garden sheds were also the focal point in a recent exhibit in the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, which looked at the part these played in 1940s life.
