Log cabins given go ahead by council

Log cabins are being introduced to a popular south Wales campsites in Cwmcarn.
In a bid to improve the campsite's facilities, this move is also expected to bring the new trend of 'glamping', or luxury camping, to the area, as well as provide an economic boost for this south Wales town.
Phil Davy, head of economic development, suggests that the log cabins will generate a gross annual income of £12,800.
Dome-shaped and equipped with all the mod cons, the cabins will be an attraction not only for their interesting appearance, but also their more comfortable 'glamping' facilities.
Fellow councillor Colin Mann spoke to the South Wales Argus and said: "They look like something out of Teletubby land. But, if it improves the facilities and attraction, we should press on and see the benefits."
The Guardian recently published its top ten suggested 'glamping' European campsites - although still in its early stages, the trend looks set to increase in popularity.
