One of the founders of fashion label Superdry has revealed that in the early days, he used to work on his T-shirt design skills in his parents' garden shed.
Writing in the Daily Mail, James Holder discussed the rise of the brand from its beginnings in Cheltenham in 2005, saying that celebrities such as David Beckham helped them get exposure.
However, before reaching this stage, Mr Holder used to work on his T-shirt designs in his garden shed, which helped him launch his first label Bench.
"I used to drive to Coventry to buy the T-shirts, develop the screens at college, take them home to my parents' garden shed to print them and sell the lot at skateboard and BMX events at weekends," he stated.
According to a recent piece in the Independent, many creative individuals have sought refuge in a garden shed for some inspiration, including rapper Snoop Dogg and sculptor Henry Moore.
