Garden shed of the year contenders reveal their masterpieces

The shortlisted candidates for the Shed of the Year competition have opened their doors and revealed what they hope will win them the title.
Sponsored by Cuprinol Sprayable, the event sees one garden shed from more than 1,200 entries named as the number one building of its kind in the UK and those in the running have opened their doors to the Sun.
This year's contenders include garden sheds which have been turned into a Doctor Who Tardis, a mini-naval museum, a sewing workspace and a pirate ship.
Tim Bowden, from Stockport, told the newspaper: "Armed with a hand-saw, a broken old shed, some wooden pallets and blue paint, a Tardis seemed the logical solution to my storage problems."
Helen Jackson and her partner Alex told getbracknell.co.uk recently that they were inspired to turn their garden shed into a pub because none of the watering holes near their home allowed pets.
