Farm buildings could be constructed in Northumberland

Farm buildings or Capital Steel Buildings, which can be used for commercial or industrial storage, may be constructed on a site in Northumberland.

According to Stackyard, an agriculture website, a 220 acre hill farm near Otterburn in Northumberland could provide buyers with an ideal farming opportunity.

The land for sale comes with planning permission for a three bedroom, single story house with an additional farm building.

Ben Johnson, selling agent from George F White, told the news provider: "This is a good block of Northumberland hill ground offering the potential for someone to expand or for someone to get their foot on the first rung of the farming ladder."

He added that it would be ideal for consumers who want to get involved in livestock farming or a tenant farmer who wants to expand because it is a blank canvas.

Furthermore, the land can be bought as a whole or in lots. There is a combination of permanent pasture, grazing land and moorland.

It is on the market for £395,000.
