Outdoor buildings to be turned into dog hotel

Farm buildings in the village of Dunsop Bridge could be developed into a dog hotel by the Duchy of Lancaster, reports the Lancashire Telegraph.
A piggery that exists at Higher Whitewell Farm could be transformed into a small hotel for dogs that belong to visitors to the nearby Inn.
Other plans include building a farm shop and café in a redundant barn, while other retail units could be created in a shed.
Charles Bowman, manager at the inn at Whitewell, told the newspaper: "I'm sure it will be very nice. We do have many guests with pets that come here."
Guests at the inn will be able to leave their dogs overnight at the renovated farm buildings for between £20 and £30.
The Duchy of Lancaster is custodian of 18,800 hectares of land across the UK and Wales which incorporates urban areas, farm land and historic buildings.
It has previously turned redundant farm buildings into offices and holiday homes. The Duchy is held in trust for the queen and the income from it is used for her private and official expenditure. No taxpayer's money is used.
