Cheltenham residents could enjoy a play being performed in their own garden sheds this summer, reports This is Gloucestershire.

Jo Boulsfield and Marcus Moore will be performing a two-man play about ageing, Still Kicking, in garden sheds across Gloucestershire.

The play will first be performed at the Everyman theatre's studio from May 27th until May 29th before the pair tour garden sheds.

Ms Boulsfield told the news provider: "They're a place you can go to reflect, away from the distractions of the phone and the comings and goings in the home," about the appeal of the outdoor buildings.

Three residents have offered to host the plays in their back gardens.

Matthew Hollands in Cheltenham is holding two shows in his summerhouse and is excited about networking with Cheltenham's art scene in his own home.

Still Kicking has been described by the Roses Theatre Bar, which will also be hosting the play, as a humorous look at turning 60 and the production contains "song, sex and surprise".
