Plant lovers could buy some new tools for their garden sheds and learn all about the latest developments in the world of flora at the Milton Keynes Gardening Show this bank holiday weekend.

Between May 1st and May 3rd gardeners and those who just want to try their hand at gardening can visit exhibits from different nurseries across the country at the National Bowl.

Graham A Pavey, a garden designer, writer and lecturer, will be on hand to answer any questions about plants, wildlife and flowers.

He will also be giving talks and lectures throughout the three day event. He has been designing gardens for 20 years and has written six books on garden design topics.

Romor Exhibitions, which runs the show, said: "Now in its twentieth year the Milton Keynes Garden Show is probably the most popular garden show in the area."

Some of the exhibitions include awnings, bamboos, ceramics, lighting, sheds and water features. The show is open everyday from 10.30 am until 5.30 pm and parking is free.
