Gardening dreams revolve around the garden shed

A couple are living in a glorified garden shed to complete their gardening dream.

In a new Channel 4 series, The Landscape Man, presenter Matthew Wilson met Keith Wiley and his wife Ros, the Mirror has reported.

The expert landscape gardener visits gardening projects across the UK that go further than a basic garden shed. Mr Wiley is transforming a four-acre field in Dartmoor.

On the programme, reports the news provider, he said: "I want to create that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you see wild flowers at their best."

He works from his garden shed all day to create a Mexican courtyard, interlinked ponds, and masses of flowers on a budget of £10,000. Mr Wiley was formerly head gardener and curator at the Garden House Trust in Devon.

The series continues every Thursday at 8pm when Mr Wilson gives gardening advice to people designing their own outdoor spaces.

Mr Wilson spent almost a decade working for the Royal Horticultural Society and joined the Landscape Agency, an architecture and design firm, in November 2009.
