could be a good investment for farmers looking to protect their property from fire.
Straw and hay stored in a large farm building caught alight on Thursday, April 22nd, evening at a farm in South Owersby, reports Market Rasen Mail.
No-one was hurt in the incident and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue managed to put the fire out overnight after it had spread to other farm buildings.
The fire-fighters damped down and turned over the remaining materials to ensure the fire was extinguished.
A spokesperson for the fire service told the newspaper: "The cause was an internal electrical fault."
Police were on hand to deal with passer-bys who wanted to watch and controlled traffic.
Equipment could be protected from fire by being placed in Capital Steel Buildings which can be used for commercial or industrial storage and are less likely to catch alight than farm buildings made from other materials.
The buildings are strong and durable as they are made from solid cold rolled high tensile steel.
