Man uses garden shed to escape abusive pheasant

An elderly man has resorted to using his garden shed as a make-shift prison for a pheasant that attacks him on a regular basis.
The pheasant, who lives in a neighbouring field, chases 72-year-old John Tucker around his garden, using his claws, beak and wings to harass the retired ornithologist, the Telegraph has reported.
Unable to spend leisure time gardening, Mr Tucker had resorted to wearing gloves and keeping a stick to hand, but he has now found a way to trap the bird in his garden shed.
He told the newspaper: ''If I want to spend time in the garden I've learned to let him chase me into the shed. I turn round quickly and shut him in for a while.
''I was a professional ornithologist all my career so I know a thing or two about birds. But I've never been stalked by one before."
Wife Carol is also subject to the pheasant's aggression.
There are 35 different types of pheasant in the UK. They are shot for sport along and are considered a delicacy by many.
