Garden Sheds - 1st Choice

Gardening 'can be simple even with no expertise'

Those with enough enthusiasm to get their hands dirty should be willing to get the tools out of their garden sheds this spring, even if they are not naturally green-thumbed.

That is according to James Alexander-Sinclair, who wrote in the Telegraph that it is easy to create a pleasant garden that requires minimal effort to keep tidy by relying on sturdy, low-maintenance plants.

Planting flowers with style and maintaining a relaxed approach can mean less time spent in the garden shed whilst still creating a beautiful garden.

"Most people want a garden that delights rather than one that is perennially green: we want gardens that are not only easy to sustain, but are also packed with colour and life," said Mr Alexander-Sinclair.

Minimal effort is needed but it is simple to create a garden bombarded with colour, scents and bees. However it can also be easy to plant a garden devoid of character.

The main advice is to find flowers that are lovely but tough as they will be easy to grow, flower for a long time and hardly ever require the use of tools from the garden shed.

More and more people are deciding to grow their own food during the recession and enthusiasm is all that is needed.
