'Homeless migrant moved into our garden shed'

Opening her garden shed one woman had quite a shock when she discovered a homeless man had been living there.

That is according to the Daily Mail, which reports that Tilly Newman, 22, got more than she had bargained for when she went to give her garden shed a spring clean.

The accountant, of Bromley, south-east London, had been suspicious after odd 'gifts' began to appear on the family's garden patio.

She told the news provider: "He was lying there quite happily and put two thumbs up at me when I opened the shed door.

"He said 'nice shed'."

It transpired that the Romanian immigrant had been living in the shed for more than a month, though he had taken care to correctly recycle his rubbish.

According to the Mail, the man would wash himself with the hose once the family had gone to bed.

Despite being warned by police to stay away, the lure of the Newmans' garden shed was too much for the Romanian man and he recently attempted to reclaim his former home.

He has been given a final warning.
