Landscape designer reveals the tools in his garden shed
A Japanese digging tool is the most highly used item in landscape designer Jamie Durie's garden shed, he claims.
In an interview with Proven Beauty magazine, the Australian reveals his favourite gadgets stored in his garden shed.
Along with the Japanese digging tool, which resembles a double-sided axe, the gardening expert claims that he cannot live without fish emulsion.
"It is the be-all and end-all of fertilisers as far as I am concerned," he said, adding that it is like a vitamin B shot for plants.
He regards his father's shovel as the oldest and most respected item, which is still "as reliable and practical as ever".
"Some people wear their Dad's favourite suit or wrist watch. I have my Dad's favourite shovel … the wooden stem still gives me splinters, the handle is falling apart but it's the perfect size," he said.
Mr Durie is also a television host and producer, best-selling author and has developed his own line of merchandised products.
